In order to evidence our commitment to the implementation and improvement of our Environmental Management System, the Management Boards of Voith Paper, Voith Siemens Hydro and Voith Turbo, traditional manufacturers of machinery and equipment, jointly establish the following principles:

To reach our environmental objectives and goals through the commitment of our employees and other members of the Organization.

To prevent pollution and to continuously improve our environmental performance, pursuing environmental conservation through the optimization of raw material and energy consumption, as well as through the reduction of waste generation.

To undertake a management suitable for the nature, scale and environmental impacts of our activities, always in compliance with the applicable environmental regulations and standards, as well as with the other requirements subscribed by us.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

In order to evidence our commitment to the implementation and improvement of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System, the Management Boards of Voith Paper, Voith Siemens Hydro and Voith Turbo,  traditional manufacturers of machinery and equipment, jointly establish the following principles:

To reach our occupational health and safety objectives and goals through the commitment of our employees.
To continuously develop the sense of responsibility of our employees relatively to occupational health and safety.

EXCELLENCE:

To prevent the occurrence of accidents and health diseases and to continuously improve our occupational health and safety performance, by reducing risks.
To assess the impacts of new activities and processes on the occupational health and safety of our employees.

EFFICIENCY:

To undertake a management suitable for the hazards and risks associated to occupational health and safety, always in compliance with the legal requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety and with other requirements subscribed by the Company.
