Welcome to Voith Paper Brazil The history of Voith Paper Brazil started in 1964 with the foundation of Voith S.A. Máquinas e Equipamentos, the first of the group’s production subsidiary installed in the American continent. Voith Group’s CEO at the time, Dr. Hugo Rupf, managed to convince the Voith family to build the factory in, because the country’s huge water and forest potential showed a promising field for the use of the company’s technological competences: electrical power-generating equipment and paper manufacturing.
